Brick paths cut through lavender and roses at this vineyard-side inn where redwoods shade the poolside terraces.

The Emma Room and the Grayson Room both face the vines that produce the estate's Cabernet Sauvignon. Guests walk downstairs for their complimentary tasting and tour, then return to find shared provisions upstairs — cheese, snacks, and wines available on an honor system.
Continental breakfast arrives each morning with house-made granola, local provisions, and fresh fruit, served on the patio or in-room. The complimentary tasting and tour require advance booking; most reserve their slot for the second day. Daily room refresh means towels and tidying without full linen changes unless requested. After the vineyard walk, guests pour from the honor-system wine selection upstairs or buy bottles directly from the winery.

The Inn at Salvestrin occupies a preserved Victorian home on the Dr. Crane Estate, with original 19th-century architecture intact. Three rooms — the Emma, Grayson, and Acorn — open onto upstairs hallways where a curated selection of cheese and beverages sits ready. The tasting room is a staircase away. Outside, rows of Cabernet vines stretch from the patio straight to the property line.
Request a room with a vineyard view for the most charming experience; the sunrise over the vines is not to be missed. It’s a good idea to check the winery’s tasting schedule for exclusive events that may coincide with your stay, enhancing your visit.
