InnCottages On River Road
Each cottage is painted a different color and faces a garden courtyard with a firepit and pool.

The Healdsburg Inn occupies a restored Victorian building directly on the plaza, which means tasting rooms, Oakville Grocery, and Shed are all within a two-minute walk. Balcony rooms overlook the square, so guests can watch the Saturday farmers' market set up at dawn or uncork a bottle at dusk without leaving their room.
Breakfast is served buffet-style each morning—mini quiches, baked oatmeal, seasonal fruit—either in the dining room or carried out to the courtyard. Afternoons bring out cookies and coffee in the parlor, and wine hour runs from 5 to 6 p.m. with local pours and cheese. Both kids and leashed dogs are allowed in guest rooms, so families with retrievers have been known to claim a first-floor room and walk straight onto the plaza.

The inn sits at the southeast corner of Healdsburg's central plaza, its gabled roofline and wraparound balcony visible from the roundabout. Twelve rooms are divided between the original Victorian structure and a newer wing connected by a brick courtyard. A fountain anchors that courtyard, where breakfast tables are set up under café umbrellas when weather permits. Part of the Four Sisters Inns collection, it operates with a residential-scale front parlor rather than a lobby desk.
Opt for a room with a balcony to enjoy stunning views over the plaza and catch the sunset while sipping a glass of wine. If traveling with a furry friend, this dog-friendly inn welcomes pets, but be sure to check availability for specific pet-friendly rooms. Consider visiting during the midweek for a quieter experience and better rates.
