Ken and Diane Wilson restored Dry Creek Valley's oldest tin structure to make wine in a building that predates most vineyards around it. Their Winter Estate Tasting pours four single-vineyard wines outdoors at private tables overlooking vines that stretch toward ridgelines first planted generations before Wilson opened.

The Setting
That tin barn—weathered, angular, and more than a hundred years old—sits at 1960 Dry Creek Road like a relic from another century of agriculture. Inside, steel tanks and modern equipment contrast with the corrugated metal walls Ken and Diane kept when they converted it. Outside, a deck runs along the front where visitors sit for tastings with panoramic views across Wilson's estate vineyards to the valley's eastern hills.
The Tasting Experience
Winter Estate Tasting ($25) means tableside service at a private outdoor table, four single-vineyard wines poured while you look out over rows trained on old wooden stakes. Staff pour and talk about which parcels each bottling comes from. It's quiet enough to hear wind through the vines and slow enough to finish a glass before moving to the next.
