Amista produces Sonoma County's first 100% organic sparkling wines alongside Rhône varietals.
Amista Vineyards is a woman-led boutique winery located in Sonoma’s Dry Creek Valley, dedicated to crafting exceptional sparkling and Rhône varietal wines from organically farmed estate vineyards. With a commitment to sustainability and community, they are the first in Sonoma County to produce sparkling wines exclusively from 100% organically grown grapes, fostering memorable moments and shared experiences among friends.
Amista is the only Sonoma County producer making sparkling wines exclusively from organically grown grapes. The woman-led operation farms estate vineyards in Dry Creek Valley and bottles both méthode traditionnelle sparklers and Rhône varieties that benefit from the valley's warm days and cool nights.
Tasting areas look out over 360 degrees of certified organic vineyard rows on Dry Creek Road, with multiple shaded spots scattered across the property. The open-air setup means you can move between different vantage points depending on sun and wind. Dry Creek Valley's signature benchland topography rises behind the vines, framing the view east toward the Mayacamas range.

The Taste of Amista ($40) lets you choose your spot among several seating areas for a flight of sparkling and still wines. The Organic Vineyard Tour & Tasting ($60) leaves daily at 11:00 AM and covers the estate's farming practices before circling back for pours. Hosts talk about organic certification timelines and what it takes to grow sparkling wine fruit without synthetic inputs in a region better known for Zinfandel.
