Ancient Tuscan olive trees and Sagrantino vines grow side-by-side on this working biodynamic farm.
DaVero Farms & Winery, located in Healdsburg’s Dry Creek Valley, is celebrated for its commitment to biodynamic and regenerative farming practices. With a rich history that began over three decades ago, the winery specializes in Italian varietals, including Sangiovese and the rare Sagrantino, while also producing exceptional olive oils from ancient Tuscan olive trees. Visitors can experience the unique blend of traditional winemaking and sustainable agriculture that defines this living farm winery.
DaVero is among the few American wineries making Sagrantino, a rare Italian varietal traditionally grown only in Umbria, alongside more familiar Sangiovese. Guests walk through both vineyard blocks and olive groves on a property that's been farmed regeneratively for over thirty years, tasting wines and oils pressed on-site.

Olive groves planted with cuttings from centuries-old Tuscan trees stretch across 766 Westside Road in Dry Creek Valley, interspersed with Italian varietal vines. Paths wind between Sangiovese rows and the trees that produce DaVero's estate olive oil. Picnic tables sit outdoors among the plantings, where biodynamic practices govern everything from composting to harvest timing.

The Classic Flight ($35) takes visitors through vineyards and olive groves before pouring wines in a format that emphasizes farm-to-bottle connections. The Pairing Experience ($55, 90 minutes) adds estate olive oil and food pairings to the vineyard tour. Fridays Uncorked runs through April—a complimentary three-wine flight without reservations, 1-5pm. Bottle Service ($50, 120 minutes) lets groups bring picnic food, minimum one bottle per two guests.
