Three dormers crown the 1900 facade on West Grant Street, a California landmark with hand-silk screened period wallpapers.

Five generations since 1895, this family still farms the same Zinfandel vines their ancestor planted.
Seghesio Family Vineyards has a rich history dating back to 1895 when an Italian immigrant planted Zinfandel vines in Sonoma County, establishing a legacy that has thrived for five generations. Known for their commitment to family and community, they produce exceptional Zinfandel and Italian varietal wines, utilizing sustainable practices across their 300 acres of vineyards. Visitors can enjoy tastings, picnics, and bocce in a beautiful setting that celebrates the bounty of Sonoma County.
The Italian Roots Flight pairs Vermentino, Barbera, and Sangiovese with stories about what it meant to bring Italian grapes to Alexander Valley soil more than a century ago. Ned Neumiller, viticultural director and fifth-generation family member, says they've been "kicking the same dirt" for 125 years.

The Healdsburg tasting room sits at the gateway to Dry Creek Valley, with a bocce court shaded by a grove where visitors spread picnics between games. Benches overlook 300 acres of estate vineyards that stretch into Alexander Valley. The setting feels more like a family backyard than a formal tasting destination, which makes sense given the Seghesio name has been on this land since before the 20th century began.

The Bar Flight ($20) requires no reservation—walk in, taste three wines in 30 minutes, then decide if you want to stay longer. The Classico Flight ($30) pours the Zinfandels that made the family name synonymous with the grape across Sonoma County. For deeper context, the Behind-the-Scenes Tour ($60) moves through the crush pad and fermentation hall before a seated tasting.
