Silver Oak makes one wine — Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon — and has since 1972.
Silver Oak Cellars is renowned for its commitment to producing exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon, with a focus on sustainable practices and a winemaking philosophy that emphasizes quality over quantity. Established in 1972, the winery has a rich history and is celebrated for its iconic wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Alexander Valley. Visitors can enjoy stunning vineyard views and a welcoming atmosphere that embodies the spirit of California wine country.
Silver Oak's single-minded focus on Alexander Valley Cabernet has produced one wine per vintage for over fifty years. Guests sit with a guide and taste through current releases alongside artisanal cheeses, and that's it — no blends, no second labels, just this bottling from this valley.

Silver Oak's Alexander Valley property sits on Chianti Road, where the estate vines slope down toward the winery itself. Wide windows frame the surrounding vineyard blocks, and guests stand at tables that overlook the property's own fruit. The caves run directly beneath, built to store thousands of American oak barrels used in every vintage since the first release.

Estate Tasting runs $50 and includes current vintage pours served with cheeses selected to match what's poured that day. Guides walk visitors through each wine's profile and answer questions about farming and fermentation. Cave Tour & Tasting costs $75 and adds a walk-through below ground, where guides explain American oak cooperage and aging timelines before returning upstairs to pour.
