Where to Stay for BottleRock 2026: Hotels Near Napa Valley Expo
The best hotels near BottleRock Napa Valley 2026 — from walkable downtown boutiques to luxury resorts just minutes away. Book now before they sell out.
BottleRock 2026 runs May 22–24 at the Napa Valley Expo, right in the heart of downtown Napa. The good news: there are excellent hotels within walking distance. The bad news: they book up fast. If you haven't reserved a room yet, now is the time.
Here's where to stay, organized by how far you want to be from the action.
Walking Distance — Downtown Napa
These hotels put you within a 5–15 minute walk of the Expo gates. No parking hassles, no ride-share surge pricing, no designated driver math. You walk to the festival, walk back, and sleep it off.
The George

The best-reviewed hotel in downtown Napa — a perfect 5.0 stars on Google with over 200 reviews. It's a boutique property on Randolph Street that blends historic architecture with modern luxury. Small enough to feel personal, polished enough to feel like an occasion. Walking distance to both the Expo and Napa's best restaurants.
Best for: Couples, anyone who wants the best hotel experience downtown.
Archer Hotel Napa

The rooftop bar at Archer is reason enough to book here — it's the best perch in town for evening drinks with a view of the Napa skyline. The rooms are modern and well-designed, the location is central, and the overall vibe hits that sweet spot between boutique and full-service.
Best for: Groups who want a social scene, rooftop drinks after the festival.
Andaz Napa

The Hyatt's Andaz brand leans boutique, and the Napa location delivers. Clean, modern rooms in the heart of First Street. If you're sitting on Hyatt points, this is where to spend them — BottleRock weekend rates at non-chain boutiques can get steep.
Best for: Loyalty program members, value-conscious travelers who still want downtown access.
Napa River Inn

Right on the river in the Historic Napa Mill complex. There's a genuine charm here — the building has history, the rooms have character, and the location puts you steps from Oxbow Public Market for morning coffee and provisions. Less sleek than the newer hotels, but that's the point.
Best for: Anyone who prefers character over contemporary, plus easy Oxbow Market access.
River Terrace Inn

Another riverside option with a slightly more accessible price point than some of the downtown boutiques. The rooms are comfortable and the river-facing ones have nice views. It's a solid, no-surprises pick that gets you downtown without the premium.
Best for: Budget-conscious visitors who want a downtown location.
Short Drive — South Napa & Carneros
If downtown is booked or you want more space, these properties are 5–15 minutes from the Expo with a different feel — more resort-style, more elbow room, and often better rates.
Stanly Ranch, Auberge Collection

This is the luxury pick. An Auberge property just south of town with vineyard views, a destination spa, and that polished-but-relaxed California aesthetic. If BottleRock is part of a bigger wine country celebration — anniversary, milestone birthday, girls' trip that justified splurging — Stanly Ranch is where you go.
Best for: Luxury travelers, special occasions, anyone who wants a resort experience.
The Meritage Resort and Spa

The Meritage is a full-service resort with an underground wine cave (yes, really), a pool complex, and a spa. It's the largest property near the Expo, which means it's often the last place to fully sell out. The festival shuttle stops nearby, making the commute easy.
Best for: Larger groups, families, anyone who wants resort amenities and pool time between festival days.
Silverado Resort

A sprawling resort east of town with two golf courses, tennis courts, pools, and a spa. The most resort-heavy option on this list. It's a bit further from the Expo (about 10 minutes), but if your trip is part golf, part festival, part wine — Silverado covers all of it.
Best for: Golf lovers, multi-activity trips, groups who want space.
Worth the Drive — Yountville & Beyond
If downtown Napa hotels are sold out — or if you want a more wine-country-village feel — Yountville is 15 minutes north and worth considering. You get world-class restaurants (The French Laundry, Bouchon, RH Yountville), walkable boutiques, and a quieter evening scene.
Hotel Yountville

Tuscan-inspired property right on Washington Street. The grounds are beautiful — stone paths, gardens, a firepit area — and the pool is one of the nicer hotel pools in wine country. Walk to dinner at any of Yountville's excellent restaurants.
Best for: Wine-country village vibe, walkable dining.
Bardessono Hotel and Spa

LEED Platinum certified, with a spa that regularly ranks among the best in California. The rooms are gorgeous — all suites, with private balconies and rooftop decks on some units. This is Yountville's luxury anchor.
Best for: Spa-focused trips, eco-luxury, couples.
North Block Hotel

Italian-inspired boutique on Washington Street. The courtyard and pool area feel like a European hideaway. Smaller and more intimate than the other Yountville options, with an on-site restaurant and excellent Italian-inflected wine country dining.
Best for: Boutique hotel lovers, Italian-inflected charm.
Booking Tips
Book now, not later. BottleRock hotel rates in Napa jump 30–50% in the weeks before the festival. Early April rates are the best you'll find.
Weekday extensions save money. If you can arrive Thursday or stay through Monday, the non-festival nights are significantly cheaper and give you time for wine tasting without the rush.
Consider Sonoma. If Napa is fully booked, Sonoma city and Petaluma are 30–40 minutes away with lower rates. You lose walkability to the Expo, but gain savings and access to an entirely different wine region.
Ride-shares work downtown. If you're staying within a few miles of the Expo, Uber and Lyft are reliable during BottleRock. Surge pricing hits hardest right at gates-close, so either leave 30 minutes early or 30 minutes late.
Plan the Full Trip
BottleRock is better when you add wine tasting to the mix. See the BottleRock winery guide for eight excellent wineries within ten minutes of the Expo, or use the trip planner to build a custom route.
