The Setting
Tres Sabores sits on a working organic farm where sheep graze between rows and Guinea fowl patrol for pests. Gnarled Zinfandel vines from 1972 grow next to pomegranates and Meyer lemons in an heirloom garden. Visitors taste at private tables set beside Cabernet and Petite Sirah blocks on the Rutherford Bench, close enough to see the ecosystem Johnson has built around her vineyard.
The Tasting Experience
Portfolio Wine Tasting Experience runs $65 and includes five estate and limited-release wines at a private table beside the vineyard. A host pours each selection and explains how Johnson works with the ranch's natural yeasts and organic farming practices. You'll taste Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petite Sirah grown on-site, along with grapes Johnson sources from Sonoma and the Sierra Foothills.

We strive to make our tastings an intimate, hands-on experience for our visitors with a self guided visit to the vineyard, farm animals, native hedgerows and kitchen garden.
