Howard Backen designed Cliff Lede's winery with a gravity flow system housed in a three-tiered structure that moves grapes from crush to barrel without pumping. Temperature-controlled caves extend beneath the property, and the Backstage Tasting Lounge displays artwork by rock and roll artists alongside vineyard views. The estate sits in Stags Leap District at 1473 Yountville Cross Road, where rugged hillsides frame the property's named blocks.

At the Bar Tasting, guests stand at the indoor tasting room bar for a $30 pour-through of Napa Valley classics. The Reserved Tasting at $70 moves to seated tables with a host walking through current releases, while the Backstage Tasting Lounge at $110 pours single-vineyard and appellation bottlings beneath framed rock photography.
