InnCalistoga Wine Way Inn
An Arts and Crafts home built in the early 1900s with a multi-level redwood deck facing Mount St. Helena.

Each cottage at Cottage Grove Inn has wooden beams, a wood-burning fireplace, and a deep soaking tub behind a privacy screen—no hallway neighbors, no shared walls. Dogs sleep on their own beds here, and the fire pit out back tends to collect guests who've opened bottles in their rooms and aren't ready to go inside yet.
Breakfast is left outside each cottage in a basket—fresh-baked pastries, fruit, and coffee—so there's no set dining time and no need to get dressed early. The wood-burning fireplaces actually work, and most guests light them even in shoulder season. By late afternoon, the fire pit becomes the common area, where people sit with wine they've brought back from tastings and talk longer than they planned.

The sixteen cottages sit in two rows along a central walkway on Lincoln Avenue, each one a standalone structure with a small front porch and rocking chairs. Lavender and rosemary grow between the pathways, and the scent follows you from the parking area to your door. It's a residential block in Calistoga, quiet enough that you hear the fire pit crackling at night but walkable to the tasting rooms and restaurants on the main stretch.
Enjoy a full day of Napa wine tasting as you tour one of the world’s most famous wine regions. The tour includes pick up and drop off at the Inn, a knowledgeable tour guide, and a vineyard picnic lunch.

Opt for a cottage with a private outdoor space for those charming morning coffees. Consider visiting during the off-peak season for a quieter experience and potentially better rates. Don't miss the chance to ask about the wine and cheese receptions that often take place, offering a taste of local flavors right on site.
