Stewart Cellars sources six single-vineyard Cabernets from Andy Beckstoffer's Heritage Vineyards.
Stewart Cellars is a multi-generational, family-owned winery that has been crafting premium-quality wines since 2000. With a strong emphasis on vineyard designate wines, they focus on sustainable farming and minimal intervention winemaking, aiming to create wines that embody excellence and foster connections among people while highlighting the unique terroir of their vineyards.
The NOMAD Tasting pours wines from all six Beckstoffer Heritage Vineyards—Dr. Crane, Bourn, Las Piedras, To Kalon, Georges III, and Missouri Hopper—in a single flight. It's a rare side-by-side comparison of how six different Napa sites shape the same varietal, run by a family that's been making vineyard-designate wines since 2000.

Stewart Cellars occupies 6752 Washington Street in downtown Yountville, where an outdoor Courtyard hosts the Curated Wine & Cheese Experience. Tastings run indoors with wine educators or outside among the Courtyard tables, depending on which experience guests book. Multi-generational family ownership shows in the layout—this isn't a grand estate but a working tasting space on a main-street address where the focus stays on what's in the glass.

The Portfolio Tasting runs $45 for four current releases, white and red, over 60 minutes. Those chasing Cabernet can book the $85 flight of four single-vineyard bottlings, including NOMAD, or commit to the $150 NOMAD Tasting that lines up all six Beckstoffer Heritage Vineyard Cabernets. Wine educators pour and talk through vineyard sources and minimal-intervention winemaking. The family has farmed sustainably since founding in 2000, and that ethos comes through in how staff discuss site and farming choices.
