Upon arrival, guests choose from two distinct flights: Main Ranch or Seasonal. Each flight includes a taste of five different wines, collectively reflecting the diversity of our portfolio. Our team will guide you through inside the historic winery, tasting wines in the very place where the Trefethen story began.

Rooted in vineyards farmed by our family since 1968, this seated, Cabernet Sauvignon-exclusive tasting takes place in our Historic Winery and invites guests to discover how great wines begin in the vineyard. Enjoy four age-worthy Cabernet Sauvignon wines, ranging from our signature Estate Cabernet Sauvignon and single-block expressions to our most coveted wine, HāLo.

The Villa and its surrounding outdoor garden spaces are home to this tasting of limited-production wines, including our award-winning Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. The inclusion of a charcuterie board with cured meats, local cheeses, and our own estate grown preserves provides a delightful experience of balanced flavors, enhancing the enjoyment of these special wines.

Your visit begins with a guided walk among the vines, covering our rich winegrowing history and our award winning sustainability programs. After that, you will head to the cellar for a behind the scenes view into our winemaking operations and the experience concludes with a curated tasting of wines sourced from the very vineyard you walked through.

The Villa and its surrounding gardens, once home to the Trefethen Family, provide a beautiful backdrop for this elevated tasting experience featuring our Legacy Collection Wines: Katie’s Acre Chardonnay, The Cowgirl & The Pilot red blend, and the coveted HāLo Cabernet Sauvignon.
