The Setting
Miner Family Winery occupies a hillside property in the eastern Oakville appellation with a terrace that overlooks vineyards below. A third-floor lounge opens to views across the valley floor. The cave system extends 20,000 square feet underground, carved into the hillside and used for both barrel storage and private tastings.
The Tasting Experience
The Current Release Tasting ($50) pours core wines either in the tasting room or on the terrace, where guests look out over Oakville vineyards. The Trio Tasting ($30) offers a shorter sampling of those same wines for casual visitors. Private experiences move upstairs to the third-floor lounge or down into the cave, where the Private Cave Tasting ($125) includes a dedicated host and limited-production bottles in a space separate from the public areas.

We will provide you with an in-depth understanding of what differentiates the five Bordeaux varietals, the aging and blending process and also how weather and other variables have impacted each vintage. This is a 90-minute private experience and you will have a dedicated host for the duration of your visit. Your tasting will conclude with a tour of our 20,000 square foot cave and production facility.
