Single-vineyard Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from named Russian River Valley growers.
Gary Farrell Winery is renowned for its exceptional Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays, crafted from single vineyard and appellation sources in the picturesque Russian River Valley. With a commitment to quality and a legacy of passionate winemaking, the winery has been recognized as a Top 100 Winery by Wine & Spirits Magazine in both 2019 and 2020, inviting visitors to experience its award-winning wines and stunning views.
Gary Farrell built its reputation on relationships with growers who supply fruit from distinct vineyard sites across Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast. The Discovery Tasting Flight puts those partnerships in focus, pouring side-by-side single-vineyard wines that show what different soils and microclimates do to Pinot Noir when everything else stays consistent.

Floor-to-ceiling windows face west over forested ridges that drop toward the Russian River below. On clear days, the view stretches past Westside Road vineyards all the way to the coastal range. Seating is at high-backed chairs arranged along the window line, so every guest gets the same sightline. The space is quiet enough to hear winemaking details without straining.

The Discovery Tasting Flight ($55) includes four single-vineyard pours and covers fermentation choices that differ site to site. The Appellation Series Flight ($35) is shorter, built around Russian River Selection Pinot Noir and Chardonnay plus Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. Hosts walk through each vineyard by name and often pull up maps to show where the fruit originates. Reservations are required.
