Antica The lens of Antica Cabernet Franc reveals another aspect to our site, telling another part of its story. Cabernet Franc has been planted on our estate since 1987, but it was not until the early 2000s, with the arrival of top-quality French clones into the United States, that superlative Cabernet Franc was possible on Atlas Peak. | 🍷Cabernet Franc | 2022 | $200
Townsend The Townsend Cabernet Sauvignon is the first chapter in the story of Antinori Napa Valley’s wines. Named for Atlas Peak resident and neighbor June Townsend, who sold her 40-acre ranch to Piero Antinori in 1998, the Townsend Cabernet Sauvignon became the estate’s inaugural release. Located high on a west-facing ridgeline overlooking the steep-sided Rector Canyon, June’s parcel was planted to Cabernet Sauvignon in 1999 and swiftly proved to be one of our best vineyards. | 🍷Cabernet Sauvignon | 2022 | $165
Proficio The name ‘Proficio’ (pro-FEE-cho) is an homage to the ancient Antinori family motto “Te Duce Proficio”, which translates to “Following your guide, I flourish.” | 🍷Red Blend | 2021
A26 A26 illustrates the impact of microclimate on wine character. In the peak of the summer season, cold nighttime air flows down the mountain slopes and collects atop several of the estate’s upper benchland sites, dramatically mitigating the heat of the day. Beginning in the late 1980s, Chardonnay was planted in these parcels to take advantage of this unique cooling phenomenon, and the result is white wines of tension and vibrancy. | 🥂Chardonnay | 2022 |
