The Setting
St. Clair Brown Winery & Brewery's greenhouse tasting room sits inside a working culinary garden with raised beds and fruit trees. Visitors sit surrounded by seasonal plantings that supply ingredients for the zero proof drinks. The urban winery operates in downtown Napa, a few blocks from the Napa River, where most tasting rooms occupy storefronts rather than vineyards.
The Tasting Experience
Three different tastings run from the greenhouse: Wine Tasting at $60, Beer Tasting at $25, and Zero Proof Tasting at $30. All three take place in the same garden-surrounded space, where seasonal produce grows in raised beds visible from the tasting bar. Staff pour flights that reflect Elaine's dual focus on wine and beer, a combination nearly unheard of in Napa Valley.
