Downtown Napa tasting lounge open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
John Anthony Vineyards brings serious vineyard-designated bottlings to a downtown location with hours that stretch well past sundown. You'll find wines sourced from Calistoga, Carneros, Coombsville, and seven other named vineyards, all poured in a lounge that stays open until 10 PM most nights and midnight on weekends.

The space sits at 1440 First Street in downtown Napa, a street-level location that functions more like an urban wine lounge than a traditional cellar door. Large windows front the sidewalk, and the interior stays open well into the evening—unlike most valley tasting rooms that close by five. There's no estate vineyard view here; the focus is squarely on the wines and the convenience of tasting without leaving town.

Two tasting formats are available: Tasting Lounge and Reserve Room, both requiring advance inquiry for pricing and reservation details. The Tasting Lounge runs most visits, while the Reserve Room offers access to library and single-vineyard selections. Pours pull from a roster that includes wines from Crane Vineyard, Jameson Canyon, and the estate's Twisted Oak and Church Vineyard sites.
