Cinq Cépages, their flagship blend, set the standard for Sonoma luxury bottlings since 1973.
Chateau St. Jean Winery, established in 1973, is renowned for its commitment to crafting elegant, site-specific wines that reflect the unique character of Sonoma's vineyards. The winery is set in a stunning estate featuring French-inspired architecture and lush gardens, providing a picturesque backdrop for wine tasting and events. With a rich history dating back to the 1920s, Chateau St. Jean has evolved into a symbol of luxury winemaking in Sonoma County, celebrated for its flagship wine, Cinq Cépages.
Cinq Cépages anchors a portfolio that made Chateau St. Jean synonymous with single-vineyard designates across Sonoma County for over fifty years. The $65 Chateau Experience pours five Reserve wines inside the 1920s estate building, where educators link each bottling to its specific vineyard source.

The 1920s chateau—a three-story French-inspired manor—predates the winery itself by five decades and now serves as the primary tasting venue. Its dining room hosts the Chez Nous Reserve experience for groups of eight to fourteen, while rose gardens extend from the property's west-facing terrace. Out beyond the manor, bocce courts and lawn seating overlook vineyard rows that stretch toward Kenwood.

The $65 Chateau Experience seats guests inside the manor for a Reserve flight, with educators narrating how site dictates style across Sonoma's appellations. The $50 Belle Terre Experience offers five winery-exclusive wines on the rose garden terrace. For groups, the $90 Chez Nous books the dining room privately, while the $70 Pique-Nique supplies curated provisions from an on-site market to pair with wines on the lawn.
